
After a much wait Samsung finally unveiled its latest flagship Android smartphone, the Galaxy S4, which sports a bigger processor and display and features such as gesture controls to name a few. The phone is successor of Galaxy S3 in the most successful Galaxy series. Samsung quoted that all major U.S. service providers will sell the phone but it kept mum on exact dates and prices.
The new Samsung Galaxy S4 is powered by a eight-core 1.6GHz processor, with 2GB of RAM. The international version of Galaxy S 4 will be powered by the Exynos 5 Octa core Cortex-A15 chipset clocked at 1.6GHz. The graphics are handled by the PowerVR SGX 544MP3 chip. A second version that will only hit certain markets(most probably US 4G version), will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset with quad-core Krait 300 chipset and the Adreno 320 graphics. The device will be available in 16/32/64 GB version.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 will sports a bigger 5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display compared to 4.8 inch S3 with 1080x1920p resolution and 441 ppi density making the display more crispier and vivid. The Galaxy S4 measures 7.9mm in thickness which is actually thinner than the Galaxy S3, despite a bigger display, with a less profound bezel. . It will also feature 13MP rear camera with autofocus flash and a 2MP front facing camera. The phone will have Android 4.2.1 on board, with a spruced up Touchwiz UI.
Other Feature includes NFC, 4G in certain markets, Wi-Fi 802.11ac support. Speaking of the camera, Samsung has added the Sound and Shot feature, which captures 9 second clips with sound. You can erase objects from a photograph, and combine burst shots into a single image. Some users may be disappointed, as the Galaxy S4 carries the same plastic build, with the hyper glaze finish at the back
The new Galaxy S4 eye tracking Smart Stay feature has been upgraded to add Smart Pause, video playback will be paused the moment you look away from the screen. Ability to stop and start videos depending on whether someone is looking at the screen, flip between songs and photos at the wave of a hand, and other features not typically found on rivals’ screens. It can sense if someone is looking at the screen, the user can tilt it forward or backwards to scroll up and down a Web page. When a video is playing, for instance, the stream will automatically pause if the person glances away and it will restart when the eyes refocus on the screen.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available White Frost and Black Mistat initial launch, although more colors will be available soon. The phone will be rolled out in around 155 countries starting April 2013.
